Installation Flexibility
We designed installation flexibility into our commercial lamp mounting options. Our Adjustable Rack UV Lamp Modules allow for single lamp adjustments from 36” to 64” to fit almost any coil width and can be coupled together, up to 4 lamps wide to 144”. The Panel Mount option allows for the UV lamps to be mounted from a side access panel for tight air handler configurations where access to the coil may be limited.

Water-Resistant Lamps
Our UV lamps are truly the only water-resistant lamps on the market with water-resistant connectors for mounting in “wet” locations such as at the coil. Lamps are based on our TUV-200 series, which incorporate a shielded design that provides longer lamp life in cold areas.

Fresh-Aire UV CS Power Supply

Advanced Power Supply
Our 120-277 VAC power supply technologies utilize a high frequency electronic ballast design for stable lamp operation and increased lamp life. The power supply is completely water-resistant and can be mounted directly within the air handler for tight installations.

Fresh-Aire UV™ Commercial Series

Lower Maintenance Costs & Enhance Occupant Health & Safety with Proven UV Technology

The Fresh-Aire UV ™ Commercial Series offers building owners and managers a comprehensive set of technological solutions for improving indoor air quality (IAQ). These devices can siginificantly reduce the levels of biological contaminants in the interiors of air-handling equipment which results in ehanced air-system efficiency and reduced maintenance costs. A reduction in levels of airborne contaminants also means a healthier, safer indoor environment for building occupants.

Microbial Disinfection

UVC light systems are currently the best available technology to reduce microbial growth on air conditioning coils. When combined energy and maintenance savings are taken into account, a typical UVC light system can pay for itself in as little as three to six months.

Energy Savings

“The high levels of germicidal UV from a UVGI system placed downstream and facing the chiller coils inhibits the growth of spores and molds on the coils. This controls the proliferation of micro-organisms in HVAC systems, which reduces maintenance requirements and eliminates odors. Improved coil heat transfer, lower pressure drop across the coil, and reduced air handler speed, all contribute to significant energy savings.”

A Cost-Effective Technology

By keeping HVAC units cleaner a UV light system quickly pays for itself by reducing the need for costly routine maintenance.

• UV-C lights rejuvenate coils and allow greater heat transfer, resulting in an impressive 30% increase in cooling capacity.

• As the coil surface is reduced or blocked by other materials in the HVAC system, and as mold grows on these components, the free area of coil surface is further reduced, decreasing the efficiency of the air handler.

• Studies show bio-film thickness of .002 in. on the fin and tube surfaces will reduce the free area and velocity, up to 9%.

Simplified Maintenance

• When UV-C lights are properly installed they can eliminate the need for coil, drain pan and plenum cleaning program.

• Maintenance people are no longer exposed to the biocidal agents and other cleaning chemicals required for these tasks.

• Use of UVC lights can result in a 99 percent reduction of the concentration of germs on irradiated surfaces within the ventilation systems.
